Located west of Marquette near 128th Street and US-18, this large pony truss bridge is the 26th crossing of Bloody Run.
Built in 1916, this bridge features a heavy 8-panel riveted Warren Pony Truss. This truss is approached by a through girder on the west end, and is set on concrete substructures.
The truss follows a design seen on a few other bridges. It consists of heavily built rolled members. The through girder appears to be slightly newer than the pony truss, possibly dating to the 1930s or 1940s.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with minor deterioration.
The author has ranked the bridge as being moderately significant, due to the truss design.
